Black Pepper Meals & Wine Competition Returns to Miami at FIU

[MIAMI]Black Pepper Meals & Wine Competition introduced by Better Miami Conference and Guests Bureau’s Black Hospitality Initiative will showcase South Florida’s Black eating places on Saturday, June 4th, 2022, from 3 p.m. to eight p.m. on the grounds of The Chaplin Faculty of Hospitality & Tourism Administration at Florida Worldwide College (FIU), 3000 Northeast 151st Avenue North Miami Seashore, FL 33181.

Returning after its debut in 2019, with a hiatus because of the Coronavirus pandemic, Black Pepper Meals & Wine Competition presents the numerous delicacies flavors of the African Diaspora by means of small bites, wine tastings and reside cooking demonstrations, highlighting native, Black cooks and Black-owned eating places and meals vans for an all-day outside occasion.

Part of the pageant’s listing of 30 South Florida culinary choices, in style hotspots embody, World Well-known Home of Mac, Tropical Oasis Specific (FIU alumni-owned meals truck), Groovin Bean Espresso Bistro & Lounge, Meals Dude Recent Jerk & BBQ, Cleveland’s Previous Original Ice Cream, and Candy Delight Cheesecakes.

Black-owned Wine and Spirit choices shall be accessible from D. Wade Cellars, McBride Sisters Wine Firm, and Lobos 1707 Tequila. Cocktail demonstrations shall be supplied by mixologists of Victory Restaurant and Lounge.
